In 2018, Oasis funded “Ignite,” a gathering of eleven queer faith leaders from across the U.S. Most had never met prior to this event. The retreat was a powerful opportunity to learn about each other’s work and think/pray together about how to ignite consciousness of queerness as an essential theological and liturgical lens. The friendships forged have led to numerous collaborations and provided invaluable ongoing support for these visionary leaders.
